The Galleries hosts summer art exhibition in support of Dubai Autism Trust Foundation

The artistic creations of talented young students from the Emirates International Autism Centre (EIAC) are on show throughout the summer at The Galleries at Downtown Jebel Ali.

Developer Limitless has partnered with the Autism Trust Foundation (ATF) and the EIAC to display over 30 works of art, donated by the ATF in Dubai and around the globe, at The Galleries business community.

Mohammed Rashed Bin Dhabeah, CEO of Limitless, said: “We are extremely proud to bring this exhibition to The Galleries as part of our commitment to initiatives that support and showcase local talent, culture and tradition.  The Galleries has a captive audience of nearly 3,000 staff of tenants, hundreds of daily visitors and tens of thousands of people living and working in nearby areas, so this show has the potential to significantly raise awareness of the work of both the Foundation and the EIAC.”

Mr Fahed Bin Al Shaikh, Deputy Chairman, EIAC, added:“Our centre currently has 22 students with over 70 more on the waiting list.  There is a demand for more autism centres in various emirates, including Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah, where autism is on the rise.  Our target is to accommodate all of the children on the waiting list. We are extremely grateful to Limitless and The Galleries for giving us the opportunity to raise awareness of our work.”

The exhibition – open seven days a week, with free entry – is being held in the lobby area of the Siemens-branded Galleries Building 2. To reach The Galleries, take the Dubai Metro to Jebel Ali Station or take exit 20 on Sheikh Zayed Road and follow the signs directly into Downtown Jebel Ali.

The Galleries includes four office towers set in a 20,000 square metre Plaza – a giant communal garden the size of three international football pitches.  The Plaza is lined with a growing number of cafes and restaurants, and there are more than 10 international banks and convenience stores at the complex.
